Mobilise your business

mobilise your business

The trend in mobilized internet access has created a number of challenges in website design. Not only must a website make use of the ever growing "screen real estate" that is offered by computer monitors with pixel resolutions as large as 2560x1440. But they must also cater to PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and Mobile Phone access where screen pixel resolution can be a mere 320x480. Added to that is the "Touch-Screen" and "Screen Rotating" functionality now offered as standard on most Mobile Phones.

An internet business strives to make its website accessible and easy to use in order to maximise product interest and sales. A website designed for a conventional computer may have the "wow factor" needed to attract potential customers surfing the net from their home or office computer. But what about the "on-the-go" businesses who's sole access to the internet is via their mobile phone or hand-held pda. A website exploiting a screen resolution of 1024x768 would be barely readable and it's links largly unusable when shrunk down to 320x480.

Our solution to these problems are to develop device-aware websites and deployable applications that have a built-in inteligence enabling content to be tailored to the computer, pda, phone, etc that is being used to access the website.
